My name is Madison and I'm the owner and founder of NANNIES NORTHWEST.

 

I am also a career nanny and educator, ice cream lover, sunshine junkie, and proud mama of three busy kiddos!

 

While earning my degree in Early Childhood & Family Studies at the University of Washington, I worked as a professional nanny and household manager for several families. Through these experiences I identified a need for a nanny placement  service  that could not only produce great results, but that would also offer a more personal, service-oriented approach for families and nannies alike. I knew that nannies would benefit from greater advocacy and support, and that parents would benefit from a more streamlined  and accessible candidate search process. I love bringing people together, and I believe that thoughtful matchmaking--with true compatibility in mind-- is the key to successful placement;  NANNIES NORTHWEST was founded from these core values. 

 

As a one-woman operation,  I am able to  personally  invest my energy into  each placement, taking the time to get to know every client  and  interviewing  every candidate myself so that I am able to make the most thoughtful recommendations possible. 

 

Welcoming a new caregiver into a family is a big deal, so  I approach every new assignment with a nanny's mindset and a mama's heart; as a parent, I know how scary it can be to  trust your children with someone new; as a former nanny, I understand how important it is for caregivers to have ownership of their position and to feel valued in their role. For me, there are few things sweeter than the thrill of helping a deserving nanny find her place with a wonderful family, or hearing that I've  put parents' minds at ease knowing they've found a fantastic caregiver they can feel great about.

 

The trust that nannies and families place in me every day is an honor and a responsibility I do not take lightly.  I am so very grateful for  each family and nanny that has chosen to work with me, and  I strive to provide them with an exceptional agency experience in return.  My goal is always for my clients and candidates alike to feel supported in their decision making, to have the tools to nurture a successful nanny/family relationship, and to trust match recommendations from NANNIES NORTHWEST as they would those from a dear friend.
