Their nanny will be primarily responsible for a sweet, bright and curious 3-year-old boy who adores his caregivers! He is thriving in Montessori preschool, loves to play and explore, and is an excellent sleeper. He spends 2 weekends a month with his mother, though he lives the majority of his time with dad. He also has three older siblings (10, 14, & 14) who live with dad ½ time and are very self-sufficient; dad says the focus of this position is 90% 3-year-old and 10% time with the whole family. The person they hire will be joining a nanny team of two additional caregivers (one full-time, one part-time). This position does require a certain degree of flexibility as the family’s scheduling needs can look a bit different from week to week, but scheduling does generally follow a consistent pattern and is planned several weeks in advance. Their primary need will be Saturdays and Sundays from 7am-7pm and generally one overnight shift during the week. She is fully verbal and fairly self-sufficient (she can feed herself, play independently, walk/run) but she needs toddler-level supervision, so their nanny will need to stay near her and hold her hand when she's walking on hard surfaces since she falls a lot with her seizures.

A typical day for their nanny will include arriving to help the girls get ready for their day; preparing breakfast, getting them dressed and prepared for school. The twins are in zoom school from 8:30am-12:30pm and they need supervision to make sure they're staying on task and muting/un-muting their mics when it's their turn to speak. Once school is out for the day, the real fun begins! Their nanny will have the freedom to plan projects and activities to keep the girls busy and having fun for the remainder of the day, with a little homework time thrown in the mix.

Our incredible return clients in Queen Anne are looking for the right person to join their family as a powerhouse nanny and education partner for their 7-year-old boy/girl twins beginning ASAP. They have total flexibility as to what their schedule might look like and are most focused on finding a perfect fit--everything else is negotiable. This means that depending on the needs and availability of their dream candidate, they could offer as few as 15 hours per week (3 x 5-hour days) or as many as 40 hours per week. The time they need the most support is between the hours of 8:30am-1pm while the twins are attending online school so ideally their nanny will work at least during those hours, but again they have some flexibility depending on the availability of the right person. They need someone to commit at least through the end of 2020, though something longer-term would be a nice bonus!
